    I know it's serious problem and most of the management folks are struggling to keep pace with the ongoing changes. One of the potential ways of solving this could be by combining Balance Scorecard with Enterprise Architecture initiatives.

    IT (Information Technology) happens to be one of the several dimensions that forms an ENTERPRISE. Unfortunately, due to the narrow definition of Enterprise Architecture being used by several organizations, Enterprise Architects are kind of "Senior IT Managers" reporting to CIOs.

    How about Chief Enterprise Architect?

    Should CIO report to Chief Enterprise Architect or are they peers? or CEA should report to CIO?
